Touching Memory is inspired by my childhood in Barcelona, infused with the vibrant colours of the markets and seafood restaurants. of La Barceloneta. This collection is about capturing the shapes and hues of the world that shaped my perception of food and daily life.
Our school drama teacher was Italian and she taught us all about the characters in la Commedia dell’Arte. ‘Colombina’, was always the smartest character on the stage and I aspired to be like her. Calm, collected, knowing, centred. She was unmoved by the chaos of the men around her on stage.
