Touching Memory is inspired by my childhood in Barcelona, infused with the vibrant colours of the markets and seafood restaurants. of La Barceloneta. This collection is about capturing the shapes and hues of the world that shaped my perception of food and daily life.
Our home was often filled with freinds at lunch and dinner, and on special occasions, mum would dress the table with fruit, vegetables and drift wood from the beach. Pomegrantaes, grapes, seaglass, tomatos on the vine, oranges, lemons amidst ceramics from La Bisbal and vintage cava glasses. All twinkling in the candlelight, like jewels.
