Touching Memory is inspired by my childhood in Barcelona, infused with the vibrant colours of the markets and seafood restaurants. of La Barceloneta. This collection is about capturing the shapes and hues of the world that shaped my perception of food and daily life.
On Sundays, we would walk along down through La Barceloneta to the beach. Families gathered in their Sunday best to eat paella in the restaurants lining the road to the beach. Lobsters and lemons lay at the centres of tables, designer sunglasses glinting in the light, white table cloths moving like sails on a ship.
