Event Description

Saturday 21st November 2026, 1:00 pm – 5 pm

This workshop is an invitation for you to spend a late Autumn afternoon in my studio, celebrating the season as it turns. Through creative practice and play we will honour the colours, textures and themes that Autumn and the lead up to Winter evoke in us.

‘If a year was tucked inside of a clock, then autumn would be the magic hour ‘– Victoria Erickson

An in-person creative workshop at my studio in the heart of Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire.

This workshop is suitable for age 12+

I will guide you in how we can use:

Vintage paper, textures, foraged nature, materials found at the kitchen table and more, to create whimsical pieces to celebrate Autumn and the onset of the Winter.

Creativity we will be exploring on the day (as we progress through the afternoon you will be free to focus on whichever you like):

  • Collage and scrapbooking
  • Traditional ink and nib writing/drawing
  • Seasonal poetry
  • Garland making
  • Using paints, pastels and pencils to explore the colours of Autumn and Winter

We will also have hot drinks, freshly baked treats, autumnal music and candlelight to honour the glow of Autumn.

You will come away with:

  • Your collection of all the pieces you made on the day
  • Fresh inspiration for creating more pieces at home in the lead up to the festive season
  • A goody bag of treats from me
  • Hopefully, an inner glow.
