One ticket includes one child (age 8+) and their accompanying grown-up. All materials are provided and there will be a goody bag/portfolio to take home at the end of the workshop.
An in-person creative workshop at my studio in the heart of Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire.
Using everyday ingredients and objects found on our tables as both tools and inspiration, this workshop invites you to explore still life through texture, line, and playful mark making — celebrating the beauty of the everyday and the joy of creating.
Taking the kitchen table and a curated arrangement of objects and ingredients as your still life, you’ll be encouraged to experiment freely with different materials and tools to create your own expressive responses to what you see and feel. This session is all about creative play, not about being ‘good’ at drawing. All levels welcome.
There will be soft drinks, teas, coffees and vegan home baked treats to keep us going while we create. Please get in touch if you have any specific dietary requirements!

Important Practical Information:
Please note, my studio is located in an old Mill with limited accessibility. I am on the second floor up four flights of stairs with no elevator. There is a stair lift for those who require it, but please only book if you are confident using this.
- This workshop will be held on Sunday 26th April 2026, 10:00 am – 12:30 pm
- Paid on-street parking is available nearby, but Hebden Bridge does get quite busy on weekends so aim to arrive early.
- Hebden Bridge has good public transport connectivity by bus and train, with stops just minutes away by foot – please use where possible.
- The Mill can get cold in winter, please be aware of this and dress appropriately.
- Further detailed information will be sent out closer to the workshop.

Cancellations:
I operate as a small business and need to run my workshops to full capacity into order to make them viable. To account for the extra time needed to re-advertise in the event of cancellations and to not run my workshops at a loss, I regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the date of the workshop.
For cancellations greater than 7 days before the start date:
Up to 14 days before the workshop – eligible for a full refund, minus a 10% administration fee.
Between 14 and 7 days before the workshop – eligible for 50% refund, minus 10% administration fee.
- Bookings can be transferred to another person in the event that you are unable to attend on the day.
